Hi, HubSpot!
A lot of my career has been spent taking work that's legally reviewed, technically dense, and tied to genuinely important business decisions, then figuring out how to make people actually want to read it. That's a very different skill than just writing social copy.
Sure, I've written the hooks, the carousels, the TikTok and Reels scripts. But the part I enjoy most happens before any of that. Sitting with product teams. Asking the question everyone assumes has already been answered: Why should anyone care? Helping a launch find its "so what" before we worry about the headline.
Some of that work ended up becoming some of Microsoft's most-shared content that year. Not because we were chasing whatever format was trending, but because we found a way to tell the story like it was written by people, for people.
What stood out to me about HubSpot is that you're trying to do something similar from a different angle. You're asking one team to create content that can celebrate the people behind the company while also making company news feel worth paying attention to. Those can easily become two different voices. I've spent years helping large organizations bridge that gap, just with a lot more lawyers and approval chains in the mix.
I'd love the chance to show you some of that work and talk through how I'd approach it here.
