Title: Microsoft 50
Format: Social media
Client: Microsoft
Description: Microsoft's 50th anniversary was a chance to reconnect with the developer community that built the company's foundation. The Original Build activation brought that to life by reconstructing a 1975-era developer workspace at Microsoft Build, then extending it globally through a GitHub digital experience that let developers worldwide participate in the moment.
My role was to translate that layered story — nostalgia, technical heritage, and forward-looking innovation — into social content that worked for two very different audiences: the developers in the room at Build and the much larger community watching from home.
The result was shareable content that honored the history without getting lost in it, and made a 50-year-old company feel genuinely relevant to the people building the next 50.
